I am sticking by what I said a long time ago. I want this to happen, but I want it to be an animated feature. I don't know how I want to put it together, but I think a fantastic product could come out in the end.

IGN's video was crap.
I'm with RMC on this one. How awesome would a collaboration with Miyamoto and Miyazaki be. EPIC!

Correction, there isn't enough dialogue in OoT to make a movie. Because technically there's none since Link says absolutely nothing. And I don't want him to...
And if you don't like? Well excuuuuuuse me, princess...

Yeah...If they make a Zelda movie, I'd rather them do an original storyline.
I'm sorry, I love OOT, but I'm sick of everyone saying it would make a good movie.
(LA would make a better one, in my honest opinion)

Their cast picks are all pretty terrible. Okay, Christian Bale as Solid Snake is pretty cool, but I can't imagine anyone else as Snake but David Hayter. Also, I may not like Final Fantasy VII (I don't dislike it either. I just don't think it's as good as the fanboys hype it up to be), but it doesn't deserve that. NO MOVIE deserves to have Even Stevens in it. God, he's awful.

Uncharted should be on the list. Maybe it isn't because it might actually get a movie made after it
Wholly disagree on Zelda though. I can think of no Zelda movie that would be both good for fans, and successful at the box office. It's impossible. There are tons of other narrative-driven games that could easily make for better movies.

I actually think an anime movie based on the manga would be pretty good. NO live-action. ESPECIALLY American made. *shudder*

I'd prefer Twilight Princess. I know OoT is more nostalgic, but I liked the TP's story a lot more.

no more video movies, american film makers suck at what they do and would just tarnish the legacy that alot of these great games have

just admit you are a troll.
@Tradint2000
i laughed too, but i would see it as a good thing, anything to crush the hearts of those weeaboo ff7 fanboys
@Mit
uncharted is basically an interactive movie series, making a movie is almost lazy
also, why the hell would you put dicaprio as link?

it all comes down to whether or not nintendo gives the rights to do it. after the highly successful mario movie (sarcasm) im not so sure they would be so willing. im sure there is some producer out there just dieing for nintendo to give them the rights. imo, i think Star Fox would be the easiest [nintendo] game to make into a decent high-end CGI animated flick.

1) If anyone thinks that IGN trailer looked good in ANY sense, you should be beaten over the head with your own retardation.
2) If you're going to make a Zelda movie, the only way to get a sense of scale or epicness, do a trilogy
3) If you're going to do a Zelda movie, don't follow the games. You have to add a lot more characters, and I don't mean side people. I mean way more people who have much more influence throughout the story. This means Link can't be walking around by himself for 2 hours. Give him a small group, I don't care. And don't do the dungeons and stuff. Maybe one or something but that stuff does NOT work in cinema, or in good storytelling
4) Don't do a Zelda movie.

No. Zelda would not make a good film.
The Zelda experience is firmly grounded in stellar gameplay, not its plot. The story/plot itself isn't that complex and wouldn't make a very compelling film, I don't think, without large changes and additions made.
