“The city will be more compact and feel more denser. There will be more stuff to do, and you’ll be able to access more activities and minigames from the very beginning. We want to mix it up a little bit more. For example, after you defeat a boss, you might jump into another boss fight immediately. we want to break up the tempo so it’s not always the same thing like it was in the first No More Heroes. Also, we’re really adjusting the amount of money that you have to earn before you can proceed to the next fight. We don’t want it to be as much of a pain as it was in the first game.” - Suda51

More activities to do, and less time spent on them in order to continue the main story. Sounds like a winning formula for game time extension to me!

It seems that basically every problem from the original game is being adressed. I'm greatly looking forward to this, but I feel it'll make the older game obselete aside from the story.

Good. If Travis is ranked at 51, does that means 50 unique bosses to massacre? Earning money for each one of them would be a pain.

I loved the first story too. Also, I think its a good thing when the sequel out- does the first.

@MushroomVigilante

well, according to Suda, the story in the sequel will be deeper.

the only problem i want him to address is the Open world, and the fact that its on the Wii, its not an excuse, San andreas was a Ps2 title and had a better open world than NMH.

I wouldn't bet on 50 boss fights, Suda will always pull tricks to keep stuff interesting.
Still, even though I love the new plot, the first NMH will have a special place in my library, simply because of how outlandishly immature and stupid it was. A game like no other... :D

Ok, the wait is getting more and more unbearable, if that's even possible.

All i want is BOSS-RUSH MODE.
There are not enough games with that, and NMH has the perfect fit for it.

I totally agree! Boss-Rush mode would rock! I was disappointed they didn't have that last time.

That's confirmed, bud! :D

Wow, I'm overexcited about this one! I think that it looks much better than the first, and the first was AMAZING! I'm looking forward to it!

@ Killer Heroes

Thee is in fact 50 bosses, but some of them are together against you so there will probably be less boss battles...

@dunnace

It has been confirmed there will be 50 bosses. Still it was left pretty vague. Some assassins will work together some from the lower ranks will try to take down Travis and some bosses will be with other playable characters.

So I guess that means it won't be as straightforward as the last title.

I'm willing to bet some of those assassins kill each other before you get to them.

I'm tired of it!

I WANT THIS GAME RIGHT NOW! I want to be able to Pre-order this game RIGHT NOW and I want to play this game for months and even years.

This game sounds way too awesome.

@Unknownsage

Yeah, since getting the best beam katana from Naomi, and the part that prevents you from having to charge it at all, made collecting all of the money harder. It's not so bad on alternate playthroughs when you already have the stuff, but on the first playthrough it can be a bit of an annoyance.

Anyway, can't wait! The original NMH is still an awesome game, and the next one is looking even better. 50 bosses, 3 playable characters confirmed (Travis, Shinobu, and Henry), a part where you control a giant robot (chicks dig giant robots! 1000 e-cookies to everyone who gets that reference), and more streamlines gameplay already makes this sound like one of the best sequels ever!

Yeah that was the main issue. Getting all the different items. Because the game had inwhich you fought ALL the enemies of a stage and thus were supposed to get a certain amount of money.

I hope another thing they improve on is the move power-up(refering to the little red balls)those were impossible to find and I didn't know about them till near the end of the stage when I decided to check-out that bar.
