I think it looks great. Hell, it looks amazing for a DS game. It's just a lower poly version of the original. It's quite impressive.
Too bad it isn't terribly illuminating with regards to how exactly it's going to play.
Is this top down, a la Phantom Hourglass, or is it behind Chibiterasu?
To me, that's the BIG question right now. The other screens they showed had one behind the character and two top down (but I didn't notice anyone in those screens...)
Chibiterasu is just adorable. All Capcom would need for me to preorder the game would be to have a stuffed animal version of that as a pre-order bonus. >_>
Well... I haven't finished the first game, so I guess I'll do that when this game comes out so I can feel good about having the superior entry in the series. I thought it was okay at first, but now I'm thinking I wont really play this game because of the DS quality.
Okay, Chibiterasu is officially the cutest game character I've ever seen!
Graphics look fantastic as well. Looks like the look of the original has translated over superbly, just like how Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks carry the "Celda" look over really well to the DS.
hopefully this game is DSi-exclusive. otherwise, those screens are most likely misleading us...because they look DAMN good!
and before you complain or [face_plain] me, im hoping its DSi-exclusive so that it can have the best graphics/visuals possible, since MOST of the first game was really just enjoying the artistic treat.
The art doesn't look TOO bad, especially sense they just started working on it. In fact I don't think the art style will be compromised by too much on the DS. We just know that there is just no way that it will be improved.

It is over the shoulder 3rd person, or right behind you 3rd person, just like the Wii game... the scan from famitsu seemed to show it.
I didn't see any top down ones. Maybe its a trade off... I've only seen behind screens. This is cool!
