I'd love it for Clayfighter to have online mode. It's a core requirement for any modern fighting games today!

Screw you the update isn't necessary! Clayfighters was awesome!
Day one purchase for me! Probably for DSiWare.
I just remember the fun animations, I don't recall any fun gameplay.
But who knows, maybe it will be good.....
For years I couldn't remember the name of that game. When it first came out I really liked it. Now I'm going to Youtube Claymates. Thanks.
Do want Fatal Fury Special and the king of combos aka Killer Instinc. Clayfighter is quite nothing and humour is not enought compared to a strong game play... even SF2 is better! But i admit that with new moves, it can be ok, let's wait and see... but i'd prefered to see remakes of Giants, Messiah and Sacrifice !
Fro~
I would probably download the VC release of the first game, but I heard the Genesis version of the game was the worst version (which sorta begs the question, when they release a multiplatform 16 bit game on the VC, why is the Genesis version always released and not the SNES version? Didn't most mutliplatform 16 bit games look and sound better on the SNES?).
I would assume there's licensing rights issues with different versions. Maybe the publisher for Clayfighters for the SNES is different? The same question can be raise for Earthworm Jim, since the SNES versions were superior in every way.
Still, if they lay off the toilet humor, a new Clayfighter could be cool.
I hope that it has all the characters from the N64 game plus new ones as well.It could be a great thing as long as the game has new fighting moves and as long as nothing is copied from the Street Fighter games.Sure the moves from Clay Fighter were SF like moves but the Special Moves and Finishing moves were not the same and i hope that those return.
