October 7, 2009 by RawmeatCowboy Filed Under: Nintendo in general

Reader Red Dragon emailed me about a BBC program called 'Electric Dreams', which is all about families that have technology taken away from them, and then they're slowly fed tech from the 70s through the 90s. In the video clip below, you see at Game and Watch introduced to a child that had no idea that Nintendo was around in the 80s.

That is SOOO interesting!

The girl is like 'Didn't think Nintendo would be around in the 80's... its not as good as 2009 games but since they didn't have that then it's good enough!'

LOL! The thought that Nintendo didn't seem likely to have been around in 1981 makes me laugh, because of course I am from the generation that got addicted to NES in the 80's! I was surprised when I found out they've been around since 1880's! lol

The guy kid Hamish when explaining why the pocket sized game system is cool: "It's mine which means nobody else has the right to play it." ha ha what a young douche.

This was really interesting. They even played a bit of 'Just Can't Get Enough' which was on an album titled, funnily enough, SPEAK AND SPELL.

Interesting idea for a show. I probably wouldn't watch it, but it's gotta be better than Big Brother 135 and Survivor. -_-'

And to think that you could probably sell those brand-new looking old gadgets to a collector for much more
