Hero of Legend caught the Pikachu's Great Adventure news from earlier tonight, and he found something interesting...
There's an Amazon listing for the title! If everything is on the up-and-up here, that would mean that the title is retail and not WiiWare as suspected earlier.

Yeah, it's about time we got another Wii retail Pokemon game!
I hope it's something like a platformer, as the name kinda hints it, though it could be the third in the Pikachu "pet" series after Hey You, Pikachu and Pokemon Channel.
Doubtful, as there actually was a DS PokePark game, it was a downloadable fishing game developed by Creatures.
So could Creatures be back and going all-out with a game finally?
Also, the fishing game would make a neat downloadable extra in the Wii game ala Tales of Graces don't you think?
@MoldyClay
People assumed it was WiiWare due to the release date, I was concerned due to us drowning in Pokemon WiiWare games and been needing a new retail one.

My god, after reading a lot of the NeoGAF flailing, I too am hoping for a normal game.
I hope it's a side-scroller/platforming game or something like Pulseman or something.
"Great Adventure" in the title holds some promise. We'll see.
And yeah, but the 5th is a Saturday. They don't get WiiWare on Saturdays, so I don't know why that would make more sense.
In regards to Pokemon WiiWare drowning, I agree that we need a new retail one, though, aside from My Pokemon Ranch (which is fun, but not for $10), I've enjoyed the WiiWare games from playing them, and I will definitely purchase them when we finally get the US ones over here.

Sounds intresting, I know I will get it, seeing as I am a Pokefan, and personally I want it to be retail xD.

We are long overdue for a retail Pokemon console game. I hope it's good.

Well he has a generic icon here, and I associate people with their avatars.
So I just saw Oswald the rabbit and didn't connect that.
Just like, there was that person who posted TMNT Smash Up news, but I connected him because the avatar on the TMNT forum and on GoNintendo were the same.

Well I just finally decided to use an Avatar after like two or three years of bring on GAF. XD
I wanted to use Oswald's modern art to celebrate Epic Mickey being Wii-exclusive and because he's a neat character!

Even though things seem to be obvious, you should consider that it might have been added by a Marketplace user rather than Amazon itself.

I'm wondering if Nintendo's missing a good opportunity here to have Wiiware and DSiware Pokemon games that build on each other.
Say that you play a Wiiware game, and items or captured Pokemon could be pulled into a DSiware game.
Or if you complete or find something in one game, you unlock a secret level or item in another. You don't have to have played the first game, but you get a bonus if you do.
From a business perspective, this would seem a good way to encourage gamers to buy all the connected games.

I played and passed "Hey you, Pikachu" back in the day... it was painful to repeat myself ten thousand times but I pulled through.
Another Pikachu game, well I'm not that interested but it would be pleasant to be surprised with it being a good game.

It could be an Adventure game where you play as Pikachu and I'll be happy. I own Hey You Pikachu & Pokémon Channel as well lol.

A good adventure game starring pikachu would actually make sense and will probably happen... but it would be better if we had a baseball bat and attacked pikachu instead.
Oh wait, you can already do that in SSB(M)(B)

@MidnightScott
Would be very nice indeed.
Unique, possibly.
Only bad thing is that considering that PokePark has only been in Japan, South Korea, and I think Hong Kong, we can't be sure if this will reach the west... :/

Confirmed to be a series of mini-games and stuff.

Retailer's conference.
Why would a WiiWare game be shown at a retailer's conference?
This was posted in the NeoGaf topic as well.
