A portion of a Eurogamer review...

Right from first touch, it's clear that Republic Heroes hasn't undergone nearly enough of this sort of testing, and the uninspired foundations are further compromised as they are built upon. As a result, this is a product that will make children frustrated and unhappy, the very opposite of that to which Star Wars should aspire.

And so another game that would've been a surefire thing of awesome if done right, has fallen victim to shoddy development and it's license power.

To think I hoped for this game to be along the lines of Republic Commando. But hey I guess that sold worse than any pushed out game that relied solely on the license.
