GN Version 3.1

These screens and details are from the 360 version of the game. Things shouldn’t differ all that much between DS and 360…

- game world explored through a Diablo-style perspective
- talk to characters that appear on-screen (voicework, but this may be for 360 only)
- “we really wanted to make sure the player felt like they had a chance to explore and go off the beaten path to find really cool things that would help them along the way. The dungeon crawl just naturally plays into that.” - Murray Philbrick, lead designer
- special attack and defense gems added
- special attack gems: use weapons collected (wield 2 weapons or a single weapon that requires both arms)
- defense gems: better absorb attacks
- more non-combat puzzles as well (put out a fire by matching blue gems)
- loot grab: match same puzzle chests as the playing field closes in around you
