Why Miyamoto's BAFTA Fellowship is long overdue

For those that don’t know, the BAFTA Academy Fellowship is the highest honor that can be given out by the group. It’s not surprising to see Miyamoto receiving this title, but it is a little shocking to see that the man hasn’t been awarded this yet. What has taken so long for Miyamoto to be recognized this way? I guess we shouldn’t worry about that, as he’s finally getting the accolade, and that’s what’s important!
