- customize your character with equipment and armor
- customizations are shown during gameplay and event scenes

- some weapons and armor have “skills” associated with them
- equip these to gain the skills
- fortifying your equipment could lead to new skills or changes to old ones
- this can also lead to different equipment types as well
- to upgrade a Blood Sword from level 5 to 6, you’ll need 2,300 gold and an item called “Noble Ring”
- select a weapon at the upgrade shop to see the special skills the weapon gives
- Blood Sword absorbs 50% of damage when you’re struck from behind, also gives a 5% chance of stealing an item from the enemy when you attack
- game shows a roulette of sorts when you open a treasure box
- item drops are random
- some items are marked with a question mark, which means you can’t use it until it’s revealed/appraised at Ruli City’s Identify Shop
- shop charges 100 gold for each identification.
- when the game displays the word “SEEK” in the corner, this means there’s something in the area that you may want to look at
- press Z to look around
- SEEK text can also pop up if something has fallen in the street
- chain together item finds
- outside of the town are spectators who’ve made bets on the fights
- announcers will cover your Colosseum battles
