Miyamoto says 'please be patient' with Wii successor reveal
“Don’t ask (about the Wii successor)! Even when the Wii launched we were developing new hardware, work on 3DS had already started. It’s a matter of when we announce it. (Concerning an E3 reveal) Please wait. Be patient until we decide.” - Shigeru Miyamoto
Nintendo isn’t ready to chat up the Wii successor just yet. Miyamoto gave the standard line that Nintendo always gives. When one platform is out the door, Nintendo starts working on its successor. Let’s just hope Nintendo sticks with the plan of an E3 2011 reveal!
