Official Nintendo DS microphone, earphone
Japanese retailers were right once again, and Nintendo did end up holding a product fair. A brand new product was shown off by Nintendo, a DS microphone/earpiece combination. The big rumor concerning this new product is that you will be able to make use of this set with the upcoming Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, making for real voice chat. While that is speculation for now, the earpiece/microphone is indeed real. The set will ship in Japan on September 14th, and will cost roughly $10 American.
