I’m not afraid to say that I love Jeremy Parish….’s body of work. I think his writing is great, his passion for the industry very admirable, and his opinions pretty spot-on with how I feel. His latest article deals with Mega Man 9, Capcom, and how the industry needs to take a very close look at this project. Basically, he is saying that you don’t always need 5.1 surround sound, polygons out the butt, and open-ended gameplay to make a fantastic game. Sometimes you just need some fine-tuned core elements, and some damn fine gameplay.
