Please Don't Forget About Traditional Controls

Nintendo paved the way for motion controls. Both Sony and Microsoft have seen how a controller change can revolutionize the entire industry. There are more gamers than ever before, and all types of new genres to take advantage of.

It was no surprise to see both companies showing off their ideas for motion control for the future, but does this mean that traditional controls will be left behind? Some people are worried that this focus on motion will have us forgetting all about buttons and joysticks.

At the very least, we know that Nintendo won’t head in a direction without physical controllers. Miyamoto recently said that the physical connection is key to the experience.
