Wii in LA on Saturday

WHAT: Hundreds of consumers will wait in line on Saturday evening, Nov. 18, through midnight to be the first in North America to buy the highly anticipated new Wii video game system.

GameStop at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles will be transformed into the ultimate entertainment center with interactive game play, music, fun, games and special guests from Nintendo. Activities begin at 8 p.m. and the store will remain open past midnight to accommodate shoppers.

Wii, priced at an MSRP of just $249.99, already is singled out as one of the most highly sought-after gifts this holiday season.
