Castle Crashers Remastered physical release "definitely not" being planned at the moment

Were you hoping that Castle Crashers Remastered would get a retail release on Switch? Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like that's being worked on. The Behemoth was asked about the potential for a physical option, and they responded by saying, "it has been discussed, but it's definitely not in our plans at the moment."

Square-Enix has already released a special piece of art celebrating the launch of Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, but now they've come out with a second tribute. The illustration above was created by Gen Kobayashi, who was the illustrator for Climber’s High.

Nintendo reveals special campaign for Super Mario Maker 2 at Nintendo Live 2019

Nintendo will be running a special campaign at Nintendo Live 2019 for Super Mario Maker 2. Kicking off today and running until Sept. 11th, 2019, players who submit their course for Yoiko to play could receive a special present at Nintendo Live 2019. As you can see in the image above, the present is an autographed Super Mario Maker 2 custom package.

Good Smile Company are releasing a new line of Kirby apparel in Japan. The lineup includes reversible hooded sweatshirts for 12,000 yen, as well as Kirby work shirts for 7,500 yen. These titles will be available at TGS 2019, and then sold to the general public at a later date.

Square-Enix continues to roll out the Voice Drama DLC promos for Dragon Quest XI S. Again, we have no word no whether this content will release outside of Japan, but it seems a tad unlikely.

Super Robot Wars V and Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town now available to preload in Japan

Two more up for grabs

Two more Switch titles are up for preload on the eShop in Japan. First up is Super Robot Wars V, which is priced at 8,208 Yen, and requires 5.6 GB of free space. This game does include an English translation. Check out a new batch of screens here.

Following that is Story of Seasons: Reunion in Mineral Town, which is priced at 5,637 yen for a limited time, but gets bumped up to 6,264 yen after Sept. 30th, 2019. This game requires 999 MB, and doesn't include an English translation. Check out more screens here.
