First released for PC way back in 2015, and then receiving a remastered “Ultimate Edition” in 2021, the RPG dungeon crawler Guild Of Dungeoneering is finally making its way to Nintendo Switch. Developed by Gambrinous, the Ultimate Edition of the game will be available via the eShop later this week, starting on May 19th.

Meanwhile your hero is making their own decisions on where to go and what to fight. But will they be strong enough to take on the deepest dungeons? In between dungeon runs you manage your Guild, building new rooms to attract new classes of adventurer and expand your decks of cards with more powerful items.
- Bigger and better than ever, all content from Pirates Cove and Ice Cream Headaches is now included in the game for FREE! Not to mention new classes, new monsters, new quests and new chests full of loot.
- Customise your dungeoneers like never before with dozens of new hairstyles and accessories, as well as new victory traits to help them survive that little bit longer among the dangers you throw at them.
- Improved game mechanics and complete re-balance will make your time spent in the guilds and dungeons as fun and enjoyable as it’s ever been. Sending Chumps to their doom has never been such a blast!
- New writing, animations, music and sound effects bring the dungeons and guild to life more than ever. But beware, the bard is back with his unique brand of snark.

Purchased Fortnite V-Bucks will soon have a shared wallet across all platforms... except for Switch
What gives?
Epic Games has announced that V-Bucks purchased via Fortnite on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Android, and Cloud Gaming Services will soon have a shared wallet upon release of the v20.40 update. Unfortunately, this means the Nintendo Switch version will be the lone wolf in having a locked V-Bucks wallet that can’t be accessed from the battle royale game’s menu on other platforms.
The reasoning for this is unknown. Perhaps Nintendo simply doesn’t want to play nice, or maybe there is some sort of exclusivity issue regarding purchases from the eShop in general. Regardless, it’s a bit disappointing seeing Switch exempt from this new feature.

Yo No Se Manana
The latest update from the official Xenoblade Twitter account gives us information on Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s special characters known as Heroes, which can be recruited to help fight alongside you in battle. The first two Heroes revealed are Riku and Manana, who attack in a pair. You can find more information about them below (thanks to a translation via Perfectly-Nintendo). Check out the details, as well as some short gameplay footage and screenshots.
Riku
(Japanese CV: Sayaka Senbongi), a Nopon from Colony 9 in Keves (like Noah and his friends), who sports some rather thick eyebrows. Back at the colony, he’s a mechanic in charge of both item crafting and the maintenance of the Iron Giant. He’s a keen Nopon who always keeps his cool, no matter the situation, and the advice he provides Noah and the others is well worth heeding. Weapons need some maintenance? Riku is your man Nopon!
Manana
(Japanese CV: Aya Suzaki), a Nopon who hails from Agnus and a companion of Mio and the others’. If her chef toque wasn’t clear enough, her specialty is cooking. Her skills are without pair, which is why it’s no big surprise she was in charge of cooking back at her former colony. Manana is literally obsessed with food, so if you come across something that could be used as an ingredient during your adventures, make sure to give it to Manana so that she can whip up one mouth-watering dish! Manana is bound to brighten your travels with her cheerful personality.

The live-action mystery-adventure “The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story” from developer h.a.n.d., Inc. and publisher SQUARE ENIX is available now for Nintendo Switch. It’s priced at $49.99 with a 15.1 GB file size. If you purchase the game before May 19th, you’ll receive ‘Behind the Scenes’ content featuring 50 minutes of interview footage, as well as the game’s soundtrack. Check out the official launch trailer above, a second trailer below, and visit the eShop page here for screenshots.
Directed by Koichiro Ito (Metal Gear Solid V) and produced by Junichi Ehara (NieR:Automata, BABYLON’S FALL), The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story centers around the ill-fated Shijima family, who have experienced a chain of inexplicable deaths in their family over the past century. Yasuhito Tachibana, producer of Netflix’s The Naked Director, serves as Cinematographer and Scenario Director, taking visual storytelling to a new level with high-quality cinematography and thrilling live-action.
Players will take on the role of mystery writer, Haruka Kagami and use their powers of deductions to uncover the truth behind four murder cases that have taken place in the Shijima household over the last one hundred years. Immerse into an authentically traditional Japanese story, transcend time across different eras of Japan and collect information scattered throughout each era to uncover the truth and solve an age-old mystery.
The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story features compelling performances from Nanami Sakuraba as the games’ protagonist, Haruka Kagami and Yuta Hiraoka as Eiji Shijima, the second son of the Shijima family who returns home to help unravel the mystery behind his ill-fated family. A cast of talented Japanese actors bring this enigmatic Japanese adventure to life, depicting an array of characters throughout each period setting.
“The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story is a game that takes the form of a live-action drama surrounding the murders within the Shijima family that have taken place over a century, which the player will help the characters to solve. The in-game videos have been filmed in live action, so please keep an eye out for the subtle expressions, gestures and movements that can’t be captured in games that use CG graphics! I hope you’ll enjoy unravelling the mysteries behind the incident together with Haruka!” Said Nanami Sakuraba who plays the role of Haruka Kagami.
“My first impression of this story that spans different time periods was to think, “Is this even possible?” and, “This script is really something!” The sheer volume of lines and the tight filming schedule were dizzying, but I think the choice to intentionally film sections that could quite plausibly have been created with CG in an analogue style lends a wonderful retro feel to the game and gives a greater sense of realism to the performance. I’d love for players to fully experience this story about the mysteries of the Shijima family, the murders, and love, that transcends time and space.” added Yuta Hiraoka who lends his talents as Eiji Shijima.
The soundtrack is composed by Yuki Hayashi, Daiki Okuno, Ryoshi Takagi, Shuichiro Fukuhiro and Shogo Yamashiro.

Pokémon HOME getting support for Legends: Arceus and BDSP in upcoming Version 2.0.0 update
Home is where the heart is!
Pokémon HOME is about to be much more inclusive of recent Pokémon titles. The Pokémon Company has announced that the Version 2.0.0 update will to be released “in the coming weeks,” adding compatibility for both Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl. Since Legends: Arceus takes place before many of the Poké Balls in the other games existed, the update will also introduce “Strange Balls” to the games for the purpose of transferring from Pokémon Sword/Shield or Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu/Eevee.
Check out more details below via the press release.
Pokémon HOME enables Trainers to continue their Pokémon adventures beyond a single game system and manage their collection of Pokémon across many of their games. The Pokémon that players can take to each game are limited to the Pokémon that appear in those games. Players can view the details on which Pokémon can be taken to which games from the Help menu of the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME.
Introducing Strange Balls
Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place in the distant past of the world of Pokémon, where Poké Balls from the other games do not yet exist. When Pokémon caught in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Sword, or Pokémon Shield are transferred to Pokémon Legends: Arceus, they will appear in Strange Balls. Strange Balls will only appear in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, and Pokémon Shining Pearl. All Pokémon caught in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that are transferred to Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield will appear in regular Poké Balls.
In Pokémon HOME, players will be able to see the Poké Balls that Pokémon were originally caught in.
Claim Special Pokémon When Linking Games
To celebrate Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus becoming compatible with Pokémon HOME, players will be gifted special Pokémon when linking each game to Pokémon HOME.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus Connectivity

Connectivity Between Various Games
The moves that Pokémon can learn in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Sword, and Pokémon Shield differ from those that they can learn in other games, so a Pokémon’s moves will not be reflected when it is transferred to another game. When a Pokémon is taken to another game for the first time, the moves it can use will be determined by its level.
If a Pokémon is brought from the game it was caught into another game and learns other moves, and is then brought back to the game it was caught in, it will go back to having the moves that it originally knew.
