New Mythic Hero Medeus: Earth-Dragon King revealed for Fire Emblem Heroes
You dare disturb his slumber?
A new video uploaded by Nintendo’s official mobile YouTube channel has revealed the next Mythic Hero heading to the game. The newest hero is Medeus: Earth-Dragon King. The Hero will be available starting April 28th, 2022 with an event running until May 12th, 2022.
The video, seen above shows off gameplay of the upcoming Hero, including voice-acting, artwork, moveset, abilities, and more. Further details will be available in-game upon his release.
Point-and-click adventure game Catie in MeowmeowLand has received a new video showcasing its first 20 minutes of gameplay. The new footage, seen above, showcases the game’s graphics, mechanics, and a few of its characters. Some puzzles are shown off as well, giving viewers a general idea of what the game will consist of.
Catie in MeowmeowLand was initially set to launch for Nintendo Switch at the end of March this year, but got pushed back. It is now set to be released on the console on April 28th, 2022. A short description of the game can be seen below:
Catie in MeowmeowLand is a beautiful traditional point-and-click adventure game set in a bizarre world of cats and ludicrous characters. As Catie follows a strange white cat in her garden she suddenly finds herself in a mysterious world of MeowmeowLand, where she has to undergo a journey to find her way back home. Kung-fu action game 'Fire Dragon Fist Master Xiao-Mei' heading to Nintendo Switch in Japan May 19th, 2022
Time to turn up the heat!
PiXEL, a Japan-based game developer, has announced that their upcoming title Fire Dragon Fist Master Xiao-Mei will be heading to Nintendo Switch in Japan on May 19th, 2022. The game will be available via Nintendo eShop for 1700 yen.
A video showcasing the game’s arcade-style gameplay and 16 bit graphical style can be seen above. The video features a number of stages and enemies that will be featured in the upcoming release.
The game was originally released in 2019 for PC, and this new version on Nintendo Switch will bring along a variety of enhancements and upgrades like new music and cutscenes.

With music composed by legendary former Namco composer Norio Nakagata (Zombie Nation, Genpei Touma Den, Thunder Ceptor, Bravoman, etc.) and purposely limited colors and resolution, Fire Dragon Fist Master Xiao-Mei is a throwback to the 16-bit era.
The Switch version features a number of new elements not in the original 2019 release for PC, including new music and demoscenes by Nakagata, enhanced FM sound effects by Hirofumi Murasaki (Aah! Harimanada, Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, Clockwork Knight, etc.), new characters, a “Xiaoying Mode” in which the story develops from the perspective of the protagonist Xiao-Mei’s older sister Xiao-Ying, a “Gallery Mode” with illustrations and character designs by Studio Vigor, and character voices by the girls unit Suika.
The fifteenth episode of the Ninjala anime series has released, titled “Space Ninjas.” The 23 minute episode is available to watch on the official PlayNinjala YouTube channel by clicking the link above.
The episode will be available to view for free until April 28th, 2022. A plot synopsis of the episode reads:
An unidentified life form is contained in a pod at the WNA Headquarter lab. Late at night, the life form awakens and tries to break free of its prison. SuddenlyHowever, a mysterious intruder enters the lab and releases the life form from its capsule….
Mowgli revealed for Disney Speedstorm
Welcome to the jungle!
The official Twitter account for Disney Speedstorm, the upcoming free-to-play racer, has revealed a new character for the title. This announcement confirms a loveable man-cub that Disney fans may be familiar with. The Tweet in question can be seen below.
Mowgli from The Jungle Book will be racing into the title upon its launch, slated for release sometime this Summer. Alongside the previously announced Baloo the bear, Mowgli will represent The Jungle Book in the crossover racing game.
Currently, there is no exact release date for Disney Speedstorm. The latest information says that the game will come in “Summer 2022”.
Famitsu Top 30 sales numbers - April 11th to April 17th 2022
Kirby sees another top spot.
Famitsu has released its estimated weekly sales charts for physical game software and hardware sales in Japan.
This week’s list sees Kirby and the Forgotten Land maintaining its first-place streak, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim hitting second place after its April 14th launch, and Nintendo Switch games overall taking 9 of the top 10 spots for the third week in a row.

Cubic co-op game 'Bleep Bloop' launching in Asia on April 28th, 2022
Squishy things come in square packages.
Publisher Leoful has announced that Bleep Bloop, a co-op game from the developers at Ludipe & Friends and Zerouno Games, is coming to Nintendo Switch in Asia on April 28, 2022. The game was previously released in the west but is now seeing a release in Asia, allowing even more players to get a taste of the title. Leoful is even offering a 10% launch discount for the title until May 29th, 2022.
In the game, you’ll play as the titular Bleep and Bloop in challenging co-op gameplay through many levels, solving different puzzles as you go. You can view the launch trailer for the title above.

A new promotional trailer for upcoming visual novel ‘even if TEMPEST’ has been released. The video, seen above, showcases various imagery from the otome visual novel. This includes characters, story elements, and various symbology. The trailer also includes a cast list for the game’s actors, as well as developer credits.
The game, from the developers at Voltage, is set to release July 9th, 2022 for Nintendo Switch. The game will have both English and Japanese language support.
Japan to receive visual novel bundle Jyuzaengi: Engetsu Sangokuden 1&2 on August 25th
A purr-fect announcement!
Game developer and publisher Idea Factory has officially announced the Japanese release of their visual novel bundle, *Jyuzaengi: Engetsu Sangokuden 1&2 *. The bundle is slated to launch in Japan on August 25th.
The price of the bundle is set at 7480 yen, with a limited edition also being available for 9680 yen. As the name suggests, the release includes both Jyuzaengi: Engetsu Sangokuden and Jyuzaengi: Engetsu Sangokuden 2. Both games were previously available on PSP, releasing in 2012 and 2014 respectively with a bundled PS Vita release in 2015.

A new video from GameXplain showcases the differences between the three versions of Mario Golf 64. The video features footage from the newly released Nintendo Switch Online release, as well as footage of the original and the Wii U release.
The comparison shows off smooth gameplay in various scenes, with an obvious change in color saturation and texture resolution. Some changes to models are also present. Overall, the most noticeable change seems to be the brighter colors on display in the Nintendo Switch Online version.
Mario Golf 64 is now available to play for all subscribers to the Nintendo 64 Expansion Pack. It’s the latest release for the higher-tier offering.
Ninjala Anime Episode 14 releases on YouTube

The fourteenth episode of the Ninjala anime series has released, titled “Captured Ninja.” The 23 minute episode is available to watch on the official PlayNinjala YouTube channel by clicking the link above.

New icon elements for Kirby and the Forgotten Land added to Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online members can now claim a new set of Special Rewards, this time featuring various images from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The items have various times of expiration, so check them out soon!
The offerings include icons, backgrounds, and frames related to the title. Among the selection are the obvious, like Kirby himself along with several of his copy ability forms, as well as others including Sillydillo, King Dedede, Arch Mouth Kirby, a Bernard enemy, and more.
Players can claim the profile items via the Nintendo Switch Online app on their consoles. Like all the rewards in the app, the new cosmetics will cost players Platinum Points. These points can also be earned in the app.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has surpassed 500,000 copies sold

According to a tweet from the franchise’s official Twitter account, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has passed 500,000 sales following its release in July of last year. The tweet in question can be seen below:
The game includes both The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures as well as The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve*. It released in the west on July 27th of 2021, with a Japanese release just two days later.
The compilation comes comes after both included games were originally released exclusively in Japan. With releases ranging from 2015 to 2018 for mobile platforms and the Nintendo 3DS, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles brings the titles to the west for current platforms.

Tetris 99 update version 2.3.0 is out now
It's all falling into place
Tetris 99 has received an update, bringing the game to version 2.3.0. Such an update normally brings a list of patch notes, but version 2.3.0 is a little different, with changes not being explicitly laid out.
Nintendo is quoted as saying simply:
“Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.”
No further information on specific changes to the software is available at this time. The latest update follows nearly a year of no changes to the title, with version 2.2.0 arriving in April of 2021.
Version 2.3.0 is now available to download on Nintendo Switch.
