Japan - Retailer Enterking offers up more evidence of 3DS' being bricked after illegal flashcart activity
Earlier we told you about the possibility of bricking your 3DS if you happen to be using flashcarts for illegal play of downloaded ROMs. This bricking would happen via a Nintendo 3DS firmware upgrade. Now we have even more evidence, as Japanese retailer Enterking has posted a warning on their website. Below you’ll find a rough translation.

In case if you use equipment which is illegal or unapproved by Nintendo or if you do customization which is unapproved by Nintendo, there is a possibility that Nintendo 3DS become non bootable by system update.

Because of terms of agreement above, Enterking refuses to buy 3DS system with record of illegal or unapproved equipment.
