Super Mario's Wacky Worlds - The game that never was...

We all know about those horrid Zelda games that were made for the CD-i. Did you know that a team was working on a sequel to Super Mario World for the CD-i?! The team behind the game was actually striving to keep what made Super Mario World great, while throwing Mario into more detailed/varied levels. They were also using the power of the CD-i’s medium to fully immerse the player with crystal clear sound effects, and a very intricate soundtrack. Unfortunately the game got nixed, and it never made it to the public. All we have now are some screenshots, and a quick demo video of the game in action. Check out some screens below, then click the link to go to the download page of the movie. Thanks to VegaDemonLord for the info!
