50 million DS units sold
Do you happen to have a Nintendo DS? To no surprise, you aren’t the only one. Around the world, the little touch screened portable has managed to sell through 50 million units. All of that done in just shy of 3 years.
Want to have that put into perspective? The Game Boy sold through 119 million units by the time it died 16 years after release. If the DS continues the pace it has set so far, it will take 8 years to beat that total.
