Telltale Games looking to hire a "Nintendo Compliance Specialist"

Telltale Games is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to be a part of our group dedicated to compliance and certification for our upcoming IPs and current award-winning titles! As part of the Compliance group, the Nintendo Compliance Specialist works closely with project managers, developers, game QA teams, and core technologists to ensure our games meet Nintendo’s technical standards as well as internal publishing and legal standards

Responsibilities:

Serve as an in-house expert on Nintendo platform requirements, working closely with core engineering teams and project managers to diagnose software and hardware issues and verify execution of solutions
Conduct testing with internal and external teams to reach compliance on all Nintendo titles
Work with front-end and online content developers to guide feature and functionality development to be compliant with distribution platform and internal standards
Communicate regularly with Lotcheck and SDSG regarding test processes, guidelines and platform technology bugs
Along with the entire compliance group, develop documentation and process to handle emerging production, core and build engineering requirements as needed to ensure clean submissions to first-party partners
Set the highest standards for bug discovery, tracking, and detailed reproduction steps to discover critical issues and to guide additional support QA
Be the funnel for all Nintendo compliance and platform technology bugs to add any relevant information in the form of standards documentation, call stacks, and historical data
Develop test plans to verify game, front-end, and online content adheres to strict standards

Essential Skills and Experience:

Strong fluency in console manufacture standards (Nintendo) with 5+ years of experience working in a QA department in the video game industry
3+ years of experience within a QA department testing certification standards
Familiarity with console and mobile hardware, SDK’s, and Certification requirements, ideally with experience on Wii U and Switch
Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate and coordinate between multiple teams and a cross-disciplinary audience)
Able to work in a fast-paced, fluid episodic environment with minimal supervision
Technical education or equivalent experience with working knowledge of common industry build and production tools
Ideal candidates will have some scripting or programming experience
