GN Version 5.0

The latest issue of Famitsu features an interview with Level-5's Akihiro Hino, and he's ready to talk about some more Inazuma Eleven Ares info. We've broken down the tidbits below.

- the team wanted as many people as possible to play Inazuma Eleven Ares, which is why it's coming to Switch
- the 3DS is not powerful enough to run the game, which is why there's no 3DS version
- there will be differences when it comes to game design between the console and mobile versions
- one of the goals for the development was to make players really feel that they’re playing a football game
- Inazuma Eleven Ares was designed to also appeal to older fans, instead of children
- there's no solid release date for the game, but the anime series will come first
- the anime hits Japan Spring 2018, and the game is due out sometime Summer 2018
- you will be able to scout players from teams you’ve defeated
- there will also be a gameplay system that’s not been found in any other Inazuma Eleven game
- everything in Inazuma Eleven Ares will be brand new (character models, music, and more)
- the game is also said to have a significant amount of content
- Hino believes Inazuma Eleven Ares could reach the same level of popularity as Yo-kai Watch
