Back when the Switch first launched in Japan, stock was so tight that some retailers were raffling off tickets for a chance to buy the system. Now with stock being restricted once again due to coronavirus issues on Chinese production lines, one Japanese retailer is returning to the lottery system.

Japanese retailer Joshin is asking Switch customers to sign up on the Joshin app for a chance to buy the Switch. Customers have until Feb. 17th, 2020 to enter into the lottery, and winners will be announced on Feb. 21st. Again, all these customers win is a chance to pay full price for a Switch.
