Animal Crossing: New Horizons bug creates an unbreakable plot of land

A new glitch has been discovered in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. While it takes a very specific set of circumstances, the end result is a piece of land you can't demolish.

If you happen to have a fourth tier piece of land and a balloon goes floating above, don't pop that balloon as it's crossing over that fourth tier. You'll end up creating a spot where you can't grab the present, and the land can't be destroyed. Instead, you'll forever have a monument to the mistake you made! Well, at least until Nintendo works up a fix.
