We shared a trailer for Fortnite's new Party Royale "experimental space," which is where players can go to just relax and have some fun that doesn't involve aiming for a Victory Royale. What we didn't point out when we shared that trailer was a quick cameo by Kirby!

Right at the beginning of the trailer, you can catch Kirby on an in-game video monitor. The monitor is where players can go to watch performances and more, and it seems the DJ that was on display when this trailer was created has an affinity for Kirby! It's unclear whether Nintendo gave the thumbs-up for this appearance, but Sony/Microsoft certainly did not.

In the very same trailer that was added to Sony's PS4 anx Microsoft's Xbox One YouTube channels, Kirby has been censored out! It's pretty funny, because by censoring Kirby, these uploads have drawn even more attention to the character being there! With both companies censoring out Kirby, it seems likely they were trying to avoid any issue with Nintendo, or Nintendo requested the censorship themselves.
