KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love for this Tempting Attire coming this September to Switch in Japan

MAGES. have announced another KonoSuba title for the Switch. The game, subtitled Love for this Tempting Attire, will be a second adventure game for the series. The title is planned for a September 24th, 2020 release in Japan for 7,800 yen. There will also be a 10,800 yen limited edition for Switch that includes an SD character figure of Aqua in a special outfit, as well as the game’s original soundtrack CD. First-print copies of both the standard and limited editions include a download code for a bonus shoot ’em up game.

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love for this Tempting Attire follows the “Black Slab” that protagonist Kazuma and company find during a quest. This slab allows the group to make special outfits, but it also seems to bring trouble with it.

The royal prosecutor Sena falsely accuses the gang of theft and banishes them from the kingdom, which is when they discover that the slab has “a curse that makes one’s desires the exact opposite.” The only way to break the curse is for Kazuma to use the Black Slab to make outfits that fulfill the party members' desires. Materials will be needed for these outfits, and it's up to Kazuma to take on quests and other jobs to gather them.

Gameplay involves setting a schedule for your outfit, and if you don't complete the outfit by your schedule's end date, you get a game over. You will also need to head to the mansion or the town of Axel to gather information about making outfits. Along your journey, you'll also come across characters like Wiz, Yunyun, Chris, Sena, and Vanir. Scenes with these characters will be fully-voiced.
