Ubisoft's online store once again lists Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake for Switch

The tail of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake on Switch is a long and twisted one. The game was leaked months ahead of time due to retailer listings for a Switch version. When Ubisoft finally revealed the game, they didn't mention Switch in the trailer, but it was all over the official site. That info was taken down soon thereafter with no explanation. There's some other discoveries in that timeline, but that's the gist of things.

Today we get yet another example of the game heading over to Switch. Ubisoft's own online store has a splash page for the game where you can grab a pre-order. As you might guess, that page includes a listing for a Switch version. The only difference is that the Switch version isn't up for pre-order, and is instead listed as sold-out.

Whatever is really going on here, Ubisoft needs to come forward and explain things. All this nonsense could be cleared up with a simple statement, yet here we are months later, still wondering what's going on.
