The new look is less realistic and more toy like textures, but both are beautiful and suit mario kart perfectly

Ouch! The booster tracks seem just quickly cobbled together..
I guess now the Wii U has officially the best looking Mario Kart game on the planet. No need to switch for me ; )

If I’m being honest it does bother me the game has a conflicting art style and I wish Nintendo put in just a bit more effort on this one rather than just push the scraps that have already been designed for Tour. I enjoyed some of the tracks on offer in the pass, but it’s hard to deny all tracks are simpler and laps feel shorter.
