I had no idea that I was coining a phrase hahaha. It's a lingo/dialect that sounds abrasive to some of those that don't understand it but seems normal everyday talk to the New Jersey natives. Like South Park said, it's a Jersey thing. I love your parents. You found a couple of diamonds in the rough to make stars out of. It's not unlike us Missourians liking to needle each other in a friendly way but we are too much for those that aren't in on the joke because we look so serious doing it because we do it such a deadpan way.
