I didn't misread it. I just said it was bad taste, regardless of the fact that Musk was the target.
Of course it won't damage Miyamoto's reputation (in this context), especially after the clarification of the joke. But that doesn't mean it wasn't bad taste.
And yeah, indeed, whether something is funny or not is subjective, which is why I clarified my problem with it by explaining it was bad taste.
Most of this conversation is just clarification of that critique. Which the OP specifically asked for in his replies. Why do you feel the need to resort to personal attacks, sarcastic remarks, and wild assumptions on my perspective on this conversation?
