For quite some time now, people have been speculating about The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess heading over to Switch. While Nintendo has never made any comment on this happening, an industry insider claims both are coming, and coming soon.

Notable insider Jeff Grubb claims that Nintendo is indeed working on a Wind Waker/Twilight Princess double pack for Switch. What he doesn’t know is when it’s coming, but Grubb thinks this year makes a lot of sense.

They want to have a Zelda thing every year, they’ve been holding onto this, why wouldn’t they just put it out this year, and if they don’t put this out or some other Zelda thing this year instead of just waiting for Breath of the Wild 2, I just will not understand.

I do think this game, as much as it was a joke in the Mega64 video, I do believe it does actually come out in October. I think we get that in October, I think we get a Metroid Prime remaster in November, and I think we get Advance Wars 1 + 2 in December.

[Jeff Grubb]

Again, this is all speculation at this point, but Grubb does have a good track record with this kind of thing. I guess we’ll just have to hang tight and see if Nintendo opens up.

Even better for me is the rumor included on the rumor on a long-running rumor:
"I think we get a Metroid Prime remaster in November"

So besides Pokemon, according to this guy Nintendo's big holiday line-up consists of 2 Wii U ports that are remakes, a GCN Remake, and a GBA Remake that was suppose to release a year ago... Yeah I'm calling bullshit chief. Especially when the 1st half of this year has been stellar. No Way Nintendo ends this year on a whimper despite BOTW2 being delayed.

I agree. He somehow thinks Nintendo just has a stash of completed games ready for the “what if” scenario of BOTW2 being delayed.

@smasher89

Unless you count the really spin-off spinoffs like Hyrule Warriors and Cadence of Hyrule, yeah probably.

There's no way they're selling them together. Nintendo wants $60 for each one, I'm sure.

@lakster37

yea, those are made by totally different studios, sure minish cap was made by a different studio but it was a more traditional zelda.

No way Nintendo is putting out a double pack unless they're charging 60 dollars for each game

Well when you think about it, both the games were on the Wii U so having them ported to accommodate for BOTW 2's delay makes sense.

Not sure if it can work as a double pack though...
