Nope, not awful, not in the least. In Australia it's $79.95 for the game by itself or you could buy the vouchers for $134.95 which works out to about $67.50 which is cheaper than any of the current retail preorders I can find. The cheapest retail preorder is $69 at Target, BigW and JB HiFi who are all always the cheapest retail stores to buy games from. Also you can use it on Octopath which is normally $89.95, so bigger savings there. And not to mention you can use your gold coins towards it for more savings, while also earning MORE coins.

So I've used them to preorder both Mario Maker 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, as they were both absolute musts for me.
