Back when the Kickstarter for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes went live, developer Rabbit & Bear Studios made it very clear that they weren’t sure the game could run on Switch. That said, the team promised that they’d bring the game to Switch, or whatever hardware Nintendo followed the Switch up with.

In a new update on Kickstarter, Rabbit & Bear Studios has stated that they’re now looking into just how feasible a Switch version of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is.

While the release of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes has not been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch, we are currently undergoing a technical investigation into development for a Switch version of the game.

If you purchase Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising for the Nintendo Switch, then you will be able to enjoy the crossover content in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on any Nintendo console version confirmed in the future.

Hopefully we hear the results of this test soon, and we’ll keep fingers crossed that things go smoothly. It would be lovely to have Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on Switch, but at least we know Nintendo fans will get it one way or another.

Remember, those interested in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes can enjoy Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising on Switch. This is a self-contained adventure with the cast of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, and it comes to Switch tomorrow.

If you're telling me that you can't port a game that is literally based on the octopath traveller graphics to a console that had octopath traveller as a timed exclusive, then something is clearly wrong with you...
