Another genre that seems to have left motion controls beind is racing. Very few games on the Switch have motion steering. The only two I can think of are Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Rocket League. I really don't know why, as it felt like a natural alternative when Mario Kart Wii came out, and other developers did it too. Then, it just kid of slowly got phased out in the following generation.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled in particular is odd for not having it, as the gameplay revolves around making very precise steering, and Sony actually is a major supporter of motion-controlled steering in their racing games. Team Sonic Racing's staff at least outright admitted they didn't put it in there and there were no plans to patch it in.
