There’s a rather odd situation going on with Collector’s Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 in Europe. For some unknown reason, those who pick up the game won’t get the extra goodies found in the Collector’s Edition until sometime in Fall 2022.

Nintendo of Europe has noted that anyone who purchases the Collector’s Edition will get the game on its July 29th, 2022 release date. Everything else included in the box; steelbox, concept art book, and outer box packaging, won’t make their way to your home until sometime in Fall 2022.

This is the exact same situation going on with the game in Japan as well, and Nintendo hasn’t shared an explanation for that region either. North America is the only region where a delay for these extras has been announced, but with the circumstances in other areas, it certainly seems like one is coming.

I don't think I've ever seen Nintendo switch up a release schedule so suddenly like they have this year. Say what you will about 2020, but a lot of stuff wasn't announced. Switching Xenoblade and Splatoon is probably something they didn't want, but could.
