Mostly what I've been playing lately on the Switch side is:
Super Mario Maker 2 - I finally earned a bronze medal for making it onto the leader board for number of times I was the first person to beat a level, so I need to keep it up or else I'll lose it if I drop down far enough. I'm also working on (to me anyway) a ridiculously difficult level that I intend to submit to Dashie and maybe a couple of other YouTubers as well.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered - I wish I had bought it on PS4 instead because having analog L2 & R2 triggers really makes a difference in racing games. Also, thank goodness the game supports cross-platform multiplayer because when I play online I'm often the only one in the lobby playing on Switch, which makes me think the online community on Switch would be dead if we couldn't play against the other platforms.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons - I still play this every day for around 20-30 minutes, even though I feel like they completely dropped the ball on this entry. I'm a big fan of this series and was playing the 3DS version from its release in 2013 up until last year (over 8,000 hours put into it combined across multiple towns) and here we are just approaching the one year anniversary of this game and each day when I boot it up it feels like a chore.
On the PlayStation 4 side of things:
Saints Row IV: Re-Elected - Actually just recently finished this with a friend in co-op and it's my least favorite of the series by far. The story mode had its funny moments but some of the side missions/activities were just kind of boring. This was a pretty sloppy port overall and we each had the game crash on us multiple times.
Batman: Arkham Knight - This was one of the first PlayStation 4 games I bought back in 2015 when I first got the console and it took me until now to finally play it. I recently played through Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition on Wii U again and it holds up as a well made game, and six years later so does this one. The graphics are still great, the gameplay itself is great too, except I do understand all of the complaints people had about the Batmobile.
