Nintendo doesn’t give detailed breakdowns for digital sales of their Switch titles, but retailers certainly have some data to share. In particular, data from the ERA/GfK/GSD has revealed the total physical sales in 2021 for a handful of first-party Switch games. You can see each game and its sales total for 2021 below.
Physical Switch game sales in the UK for 2021
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe: 599,881 (#4 overall for 2021)
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons: 457,407 (#8 overall for 2021)
- Super Mario 3D World + Bower’s Fury: 321,010 (#15 overall for 2021)
- Pokémon Brilliant Diamond: 210,507 (#19 overall for 2021)
