FIFA 23: Legacy Edition comes to Switch on Sept. 30th, 2022
And what a legacy it is...
The FIFA series is once again coming to the Switch with a yearly installment, but not in the way we want it. Nintendo and EA have confirmed that FIFA 23: Legacy Edition is on the way, and you’ll be able ot pick it up on Sept. 30th, 2022.
FIFA 23 Legacy Edition features the latest kits, clubs, and squads from some of the top leagues of the world. It will also feature the addition of top women’s club teams and some of the world’s most famous stadiums, including brand new ones, an updated visual identity and a refreshed broadcast overlay package. FIFA 23 Legacy Edition will feature the same Gameplay features and modes from FIFA 22 Legacy Edition without any new development or significant enhancements.
The following Game Modes will be included in FIFA 23 Legacy Edition with the same features from FIFA 22 Legacy Edition.
- Kick Off
- Career Mode
- Tournaments – Licensed and Custom, including the UEFA Champions League
- Women’s International Cup
- Skill Games
- Online Seasons & Friendlies
- Local Seasons
FIFA 23 Legacy Edition will feature a select number of FUT Campaigns throughout the Season. FIFA ULTIMATE TEAM™ will include:
- Manager Tasks
- Single Player & Online Seasons, Tournaments & Draft
- Online Single Match
- Squad Building Challenges
FIFA 23: Legacy Edition is priced at $40 and takes up 13.7 GB of space. Nintendo notes that you’ll need at least 14 GB’s of free space to download the game. You can place your pre-order here.

1+ y agoThat's some going by EA. They've managed to make a bad thing even worse. 🤣
I don't know why more sites didn't review last year's version. It's just 1 short of officially being recognised for the lazy t#rd it is on Metacritic and if the score was similar, it would make it one of the worst reviewed games on Switch. Sites should be call EA out on it and the bad publicity might have helped shame them into putting more effort in.
