Niantic removes all games from download in Russia, Belarus

A show of solidarity from Niantic.

In a brief statement released on Twitter, Niantic Labs (developers of such games as Pokémon GO and Pikmin Bloom) have revealed that they have taken actions to prevent download of their games in Russian and Belarusian territories.

The response follows conflict that has sparked action from Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Sony, and many others.

Niantic also made clear plans to prevent gameplay in the aforementioned territories in a further stand against the actions of the countries.

My hope is that all the companies who have removed their products from Russia will continue their support of Ukraine even after this conflict is resolved.
