My friends, the end is nigh for Dragalia Lost. The official Dragalia Lost website has been updated with a note from the devs, and it points to the game’s main campaign ending in July, and service ending sometime thereafter. You can read the team’s full message below.

The Dragalia Lost main campaign is scheduled to reach its conclusion in July of 2022 with part two of chapter 26, the final and climactic addition to its long-running story. After the main campaign has concluded, service for the game itself will come to a close at a later date. Further details on the end-of-service schedule will be provided in a future notification.

After the final set of new adventurers is added in a summon showcase scheduled for 03/31/2022 at 02:00, the game will not receive any new content updates aside from those for the main campaign and certain quests. Please note that summon showcases for existing adventurers and dragons, as well as event revivals, will continue to be made available until service has ended.

The Dragalia Lost team would like to thank each and every one of our players, past and present, for your love of and support for Dragalia Lost since its launch. It is our sincere hope that you have enjoyed your experience with the game from the moment you started playing it, and we will strive to ensure that you continue to do so for as long as time allows.

My heart is breaking. I've played this game on and off since day one. I've had so many great moments and experiences through it as well as met many kind and great people. I wish there was some way they could keep it around or make it into a Switch game. The characters are too great to simply be forgotten. It will dearly be missed.

Let’s hope the series continues one way or another.

Sorry to share the bummer announcement, but at least you made tons of great memories on the journey!

Like most mobile games, I stopped playing when I couldn't progress anymore unless I busted out some cash (my own personal metagame). Felt inevitable, but it's still a pretty good game.

I desperately want this game to continue the way that Granblue Fantasy has, being adapted into full console games. The characters and worlds they created with Dragalia Lost are amazing.
