How bad did you want a Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-themed Switch OLED? At $360, it’s a pretty big price to pay, but one gamer online seems to have paid much more than the price tag to acquire the special hardware.

In the video above, you can see one gamer who decided to trade in a treasure trove of content to snag a Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED and $700 in cash. To get to that total, he traded in an orange Pikachu N64, NES action set, Super Mario 64, GoldenEye 007, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario Kart, all in box.

Without a doubt, this gamer could have made more money selling some of these products individually. Depending on the shape their in both inside and out of the box, he could have made upwards of $800 on just the N64 alone. That said, at the end of the day, this guy felt trading in these items for some cold-hard cash and the Zelda Switch OLED was the deal to make. Let’s hope it’s a decision he doesn’t regret down the road!

He didn't just DO it, he recorded his bad decision and presented it to the world. Even if you ignore nostalgia, it's just a bad monetary exchange this guy made.

When I was a kid I sold my NES and most of my games so that I could afford a SNES. I've always regretted it. I've since collected replacements for it all, but I wish I could look at the Castlevania 3 on my shelf and know that it was the same one I played as a kid.
