Hogwarts Legacy to include Unforgivable Curses
Better to ask for forgiveness than permission
I know very, very little about the world of Harry Potter, so please excuse me while I fumble my way through this news.
A new promo video was released for Hogwarts Legacy today, and it has revealed that the game will include Unforgivable Curses. In particular, we learn that Imperio will be a part of the game, which allows the caster to control another’s actions.
The Unforgivable Curses were three of the most powerful and sinister spells known to the wizarding world. They were tools of the Dark Arts and were first classified as “Unforgivable” in 1717, with the strictest penalties attached to their use. The three curses consisted of the Killing Curse (Avada Kedavra), the Cruciatus Curse (Crucio), and the Imperius Curse (Imperio).
As to whether Avada Kedavra and Crucio make the cut for Hogwarts Legacy, that remains to be seen.
