According to fans and critics alike, NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition is definitely a top-tier port, really taking advance of what the Switch can do to make for an excellent experience.
In an interview with Nintendo Dream magazine, NieR:Automata producer Yosuka Saito opened up on the work that Virtuos did on the Switch port, and it turns out even Nintendo themselves were impressed by what the company pulled off.
The company that was in charge of making the port, Virtuos was just fantastic. They made sure that the controls and small details that Taro and Taura wanted, were ported beautifully. We even heard praise from Nintendo on how good the gameplay felt.
