Live by the Sword's upcoming Winter update detailed

Live by the Sword: Tactics came to Switch at the tail-end of October, giving Switch owners a chance to enjoy a heaping helping of old-school tactical RPG action. If you’ve already wrapped that adventure and have been hoping for more, you’ll be happy to know that big things are on the way.

Sometime after December 6th, 2022, Live by the Sword: Tactics will see its biggest update yet. The dev team says they’ve heard your feedback, positive and negative, and have made numerous meaningful changes to the game that haven’t just resulted in new content, but changed content.

Here’s a look at what you can expect once the update drops:

• Story Mode has received numerous changes on every single encounter, adjusting the enemy team composition as well as limiting the characters players can use to introduce new strategies.
• Adventure Mode has had multiple new systems introduced, Stat Points, Grand Effects, New Items, New Boards, New Abilities and Traits.
• Animation Speed has been increased as well as regular movement speed.
• New Traits and Abilities added to every class and a balance pass has been performed.
