Second wave of Splatoon 3 Switch icons now available, Nintendo previews Big Run event

If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, new Splatoon 3 icons are in your future. First, head over to Nintendo Switch Online on the HOME Menu (it’s the red icon on the far left of the menu) and go to the Missions & Rewards section. You should see some colorful Splatoon stuff front and center.
Until Jan. 9 at 4:59 p.m. PT, Nintendo Switch Online members can redeem their My Nintendo™ Platinum Points for Splatoon 3 icon elements. Icons refresh each week until the end date, so please keep an eye out on what’s available. Once you redeem your points for icon elements, you can then use the icon maker to make something fresh.
Ready to take on something big in Splatoon 3? How big you ask? Well, it’s literally called Big Run so we can confidently say it’s, uh, big. Big Run is a new online event that will take place Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. PT to Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. PT in Splatoon 3.
During this event, Salmon Run players will battle waves of those pesky Salmonids and collect golden eggs on a stage that’s usually just reserved for Turf War, Anarchy Battle, or X Battles. This time around, the stage will be Wahoo World.
You can also get some snazzy in-game rewards for taking part, so good luck! Remember, Salmon Run is fully co-op, so you’ll need to work together to survive.
