Sonic Prime is coming to Netflix on Dec. 15th, 2022, but we’re getting another sneak peek at the series today. In the clip above, Sonic tries to regain the trust of his best friend Tails, except he’s not the Tails he remembers…and they’re not in Green Hill anymore…

Sonic Prime is an animated adventure for kids, families, and long-time fans (1 x 40 minute episode, 7 x 20 minute episodes) that draws upon the keystones of the brand and features the “Blue Blur” of video game fame in a high-octane adventure where the fate of a strange new multiverse rests in his gloved hands. Sonic’s adventure is about more than a race to save the universe, it’s a journey of self-discovery and redemption.

Sonic Prime stars Canadian voice actor Deven Mack in the lead role, and is the work of WildBrain’s Vancouver studio, with Man of Action Entertainment (creator of Ben 10) showrunning and executive producing.
