Hobonichi reveals new Earthbound merch

While we’ve only ever gotten 3 Earthbound/Mother games (and only 2 officially localized!), there seems to be a never-ending flood of merch for the franchise. Earthbound creator Shigesato Itoi has revealed another handful of Earthbound merch to be sold via his Hobonichi brand, all of which goes live on Dec. 15th, 2022.

First up is the above selection of refrigerator magnets. Each one is sold separately, and the lineup includes Ness, Dr. Saturn, the Ultimate Chimera, and the Worthless Protoplasm. You can pick up the first 3 for ¥1,320, while the Worthless Protoplasm is ¥1,100.

Along with that, Hobonichi will also be selling a small brooch of the Abstract Art enemy from EarthBound. This item is priced at ¥1,650.
