Nintendo has released an update for Mario Kart 7, making it the game’s first update in over 10 years. This update brings the game to version 1.2, with the previous version 1.1 releasing on May 15th, 2012.

Players will need to update the title if they want to use the game’s online multiplayer functionality, and all players must use the same version to play together.

You can check out the VERY brief patch notes below, along with instruction on how to update thanks to Nintendo themselves.
