Universal Studios Hollywood opened Pass Member reservations for Super Nintendo World the other day, and people were incredibly eager to get their spot for the grand opening. It appears the demand was much bigger than Universal expected, as it took their site offline due to a huge rush of traffic.

Universal has since apologized for the technical hiccup, and set a new date of January 9th, 2023 to lock in early tickets. Furthermore, Universal has also said that no Pass Member reservations have been made at this time. In other words, if a lucky few people did manage to get in under the technical issues and grab a reservation, it’s now been cancelled.

The reservation frenzy starts all over again tomorrow at 11 AM PT, and it’s sure to be another rush to the virtual ticket booth. Let’s hope that Universal’s website is ready to handle the onslaught this time around!
